As a Partner at CERTAINITY, Michael Brunner, PhD, has been leading the Security Engineering practice since June 2022.

He has more than 20 years of experience as a Security Architect, Management Consultant, and Software Engineer.

As part of his doctoral research, Michael explored new approaches to making information security and IT risk management more efficient in international projects.

His key areas of expertise include secure software and product development, the implementation of security architectures, and the establishment of related security processes, particularly in critical infrastructure environments.

Michael also heads CERTAINITY’s office in Innsbruck.
