As a Partner at CERTAINITY, Florian Walther leads the Defensive Security practice.

Florian brings more than 25 years of experience in cyber security and has extensive expertise in both offensive and defensive security.

For 15 years, he worked as a Penetration Tester, assessing a wide range of systems for security vulnerabilities. His engagements covered everything from electronic identity documents and web applications to industrial production environments and critical infrastructure, including energy sector control systems.

For more than 10 years, Florian has focused primarily on the defensive side of cyber security. During this time, he has worked as a Malware Analyst for international financial institutions, as an Incident Manager, Incident Responder, and Threat Hunter. He has also built and led multiple Incident Response teams.

At CERTAINITY, Florian is responsible for leading and further expanding the Defensive Security team.
