We are currently looking for a Senior DFIR Consultant (m/f/d) to strengthen our Defensive Security team, with a focus on Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR).

This role is intended for experienced DFIR professionals with several years of hands-on experience in incident response and digital forensics who are ready to take ownership of complex security incidents and actively contribute their expertise.

Your Role

As a Senior DFIR Consultant, you’ll be more than an analyst—you’ll serve as an incident responder, trusted advisor, and technical leader.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading the technical response during complex incident response engagements.
  2. Conducting in-depth forensic investigations across endpoints, servers, cloud environments, and log sources.
  3. Making sound technical decisions under pressure during active incidents.
  4. Acting as the primary technical contact for clients throughout critical security incidents.
  5. Planning and leading on-site incident response engagements.
  6. Mentoring and supporting junior DFIR consultants.
  7. Continuously improving our DFIR methodologies, playbooks, and technical standards.

What You’ll Bring

  1. Several years of experience in DFIR, Incident Response, or Blue Team operations.
  2. Strong expertise in Windows and Linux forensics.
  3. Hands-on experience with incident response tools, log analysis, and forensic artifact analysis.
  4. The ability to remain calm, structured, and methodical under pressure.
  5. A strong sense of ownership and commitment.
  6. Willingness to travel when responding to security incidents.
  7. A high degree of flexibility, as incident response work is inherently unpredictable.

We offer a gross annual salary starting at €75,000 (full-time), depending on your level of experience. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we are prepared to offer a competitive salary above this minimum.
