Your Responsibilities

  1. Define and align strategies, policies, and guidelines for secure software development and secure software operations.
  2. Analyze software development processes and develop practical recommendations to achieve security objectives.
  3. Perform security assessments of applications, architectures, and systems, including gap analyses and actionable remediation recommendations.
  4. Design and integrate cyber security tools into software development processes.
  5. Evaluate, introduce, and implement new tools and technologies.
  6. Coach and train client teams on Secure Coding, Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices, and DevSecOps.

Your Qualifications

  1. A degree (University of Applied Sciences or university) in Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  2. Experience with modern software development methodologies and frameworks (e.g. Scrum, DevSecOps, Agile).
  3. Development experience in at least one programming or widely used scripting language (e.g. C#, Java, C++, Python, JavaScript).
  4. Strong understanding of current software development tools, technologies, and industry trends.
  5. Experience conducting security assessments and implementing both technical and organizational security controls.
  6. Experience designing software architectures and security architectures.
  7. Strong knowledge of established security standards and best practices, including ISO/IEC 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIST RMF, OWASP ASVS, and related frameworks.
  8. Strong analytical thinking and a structured, detail-oriented approach to work.
  9. Excellent written and spoken German and English.

We also welcome talented career changers with a strong interest in application security. Previous experience in software development or cloud security is an advantage. For senior-level positions, we expect at least five years of relevant professional experience, supported by internationally recognized certifications.

We offer a gross annual salary starting at €50,000 for Junior positions and €70,000 for Senior positions (full-time). Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we are prepared to offer a competitive salary above these minimums.
