Sustainability Disclosure pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/2088
We pursue our own sustainability strategy and strive to consider the adverse impacts of investment decisions wherever reasonably possible. In doing so, we carefully assess potential developments in the areas of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) factors that could have actual or potential material adverse effects on the value of investments. Particular consideration is given to areas such as the purchase or leasing of office space, procurement of business equipment, IT infrastructure, and company vehicles.
With regard to insurance products, we currently do not have sufficiently transparent information to adequately assess the adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors. We continuously monitor legal developments as well as initiatives within the insurance industry. Once appropriate information becomes available, we will consider potential adverse sustainability impacts in our advice to clients where applicable.
As part of our remuneration policy, we continuously review all remuneration received and granted. To date, sustainability factors have not been taken into account, as this has not been common practice in our market. Should future legal developments enable or require the consideration of such factors, we will evaluate their application to existing and future remuneration arrangements and ensure appropriate disclosure.
